IDOU Brand Story (I love Denzel & Ouida)

The story of IDOU starts with our founder, Juliet. At the age of thirty-five, Juliet valued her career, loved ones, and outdoor activities. During a bike ride with her husband Denzel, they were both wearing reflective vests from the company Juliet worked for. Unfortunately, Denzel got injured during the ride, and upon investigation, they discovered that the reflective vest provided no visibility when bent over.

This incident made Juliet realize the poor quality of reflective gear available in the market. She found that many brands were selling ineffective products that compromised the safety of their customers. They either failed to offer inclusive size ranges or provided misleading information about sizing. Furthermore, essential features were often omitted to cut costs and expedite production.

Driven by the desire to prevent future accidents, Juliet designed a reflective vest specifically for Denzel. As her daughter Ouida grew older, she became concerned about Ouida's safety as well. This led Juliet to develop safety gear for Ouida, extending her passion for safety to benefit everyone. And thus, IDOU was born.
